Well, after weeks of our courteous waiting for information, I decided last night to contact The Barfly, Birmingham for details. And hey, what do you know, The Barfly changed ownership three months ago, and their response was:

"We penciled the event into our diary just after we took over the bar. The guy who rang just asked a price, and wouldn't leave any contact number. They never paid the deposit, never confirmed the booking, and we have heard nothing since the original enquiry. We have since hired out the venue to other people."

As I have been trying continuously to get some form of response from the Psychoholic Magazine staff, and failed, we have decided to remove this event from our diary. We apologise to the MANY people who have contacted us for details of the event. It is entirely out of our control, and sincerely hope this does not cause too many problems for people who had already said they were travelling to it.

And a special thanks to all the bands that have emailed me with details of past problems.

Keep the faith, and fuck 'em all.
