Christmas again

I would like to thank everyone who has supported MDC on any level this year, be it buying merch, posting news around different boards, turning up at shows etc.

2009 is going to be a big year for MDC, what with Russia, The Stomp, Psychobilly meeting, and the BIG one being announced this weekend(Hopefully).

Keep watching for updates on the new album and DVD release.

You are the guys we do this for, and without you, there is nothing.
Have a very happy Christmas, and thanks again.

Mark & The Boys.

Two-Day trip to Russia in 2009

Mad Dog Cole has just confirmed two shows in Russia for March 2009. The band will perform in Saint Petersburg (Money Honey Club) on 13th of March and in Moscow (location to be announced soon) on 14th of March. Due to administration problems on behalf of the travel company the band unfortunately had to cancel their Saint Petersburgh show back in 2007. But this time they'll be there for sure. So you lovely people out there in Russia, make sure you don't miss these shows out!

Killing Time Recording Company

Recently Jim Jeffries has created a MySpace site for his own label called "Killing Time Recording Company" which is to be launched soon. Here you can already listen to a few songs from Jim Jeffries & The Wretched Souls and new mixes from the forthcoming The Whip Crackin' Daddies album "Playing with knives".

Jim Jeffries on Psychobilly-Online:

"I've hastily whacked up a page for my label which is to be launched "soon" and added another three Jim Jeffries & The Wretched Souls songs. A couple of weird ones that will test even the most hardy of listeners! ha ha. Please let me know what the fuck you think. It may help if you have a penchant for songs about forbidden love, lost love, jealousy, starving to death and infanticide."

Jim about the Whip Crackin' Daddies Remixes:

"Poseur - remixed, Dominator - remixed, but I think i'm gonna big up the double bass and reduce the treble on the bass. Don't You Dare - maybe the most psychobilly track on the album "Playing With Knives" - not sure about the Don't You Dare backing vox - I may change the effect and make em louder (like Frank said). Please have a listen! When MadDog gets a minute he's gonna edit a video of a recent WCD gig - so you can see what we do live"

Welcome back on stage: Dominic "The Drum Machine" Parr

As some of you may already know MadDogCole had a special guest in their concert at the Brighton Psychobilly Alldayer last saturday. This was no less than Dominic Parr, the drummer from the first three Krewmen albums. Of course, Mark Cole took the opportunity to fetch the good old Dominic for the song ("Night Shift Blues") on stage.

This way after 21 years a "small" Krewmen reunion happened. Of course we have recorded this special event for you. Please check out our video section to watch the clip.

Info:

Why is he called the drum machine? Because of all the rumours there have been all over the years saying that The Krewmen used computer drums on their first three "psychobilly" records. Bullshit.

Rockin' regards,
sweetdreams
