Hi,

First of all, I wish to apologise from the band regarding this event. One hour before we were due on stage, I received an official message from The Matrix stating that the PA system had blown, so it was not possible for us to perform. I was just leaving the hotel when the message arrived via the promoter. I am assured everybody got their money refunded, and I can only apologise again for the fuck up. It was completely out of my hands, but I was told to not come to the venue. Thank you to everybody who DID attend, and hope your night was not too fucked up by this.

It is with great excitement that I announce something really special for the Los Angeles show. Dominic Parr, the original Krewmen (Psychobilly days) drummer is back on the skins. I have enticed him out of retirement to be the driving force behind my rhythm section. He is now the permanent drummer for MDC, so be prepared for a hammering!

And another treat for you Californians: I have the world-famous Fantomas (Surf Rats, Astro Zombies, etc.) on double-bass! You have all seen his amazing skills online, now witness the man himself.

How fucking insane do you want this show?

The permanent replacement on double-bass is Puck Lensing (Sewer Rats, Boozehounds, etc.). Puck will be taking over all European shows as from February 28th, so the new rhythm section only reinforces the fact that MDC will be a force to be constantly reckoned with. Both Dominic and Puck have been working damned hard since December and it all sounds fantastic. Recording of the new album, Son of Satan begins in two weeks, so you better get buckled up and ready for the ride. It's gonna be awesome!

Mad Dog Cole will return to Los Angeles in March 2010 to headline the Insanity Show presented by Sektion 8. This event will take place on Saturday 13th of March at 1965 South Los Angeles Street in Los Angeles, California. This festival will feature eleven bands. Well Ladies and Gents, it's nearly 2010!

I want to thank everybody for their support throughout the year, whether its through buying merch, attending the shows or downloading the podcast. We hope to be recording the new album, "Son of Satan" during Jan/Feb, and I apologise for it's delay, but it has been due to issues beyond my control, but rest assured, everything is now back on track!

The monthly podcast will be uploaded on the 5th as per usual, and for your info, it is getting approx 7000 hits each month, so it can't only be us Psychobilly freaks that are listening to it!
